by One mum has stunned the internet with the sheer size of her ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ belly, containing just one child. Mum-of-five Renae, from the US, regularly posted updates on TikTok of her ʙᴇʟʟʏ throughout her ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴄʏ, with one video of her at 37 weeks ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ going viral.
In the video, she stands with her hands cradling her massive ʙᴇʟʟʏ that seems to protrude from her entire torso. “Oh hey, thanks for checking in. I’m still super f—–g ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ,” says the audio in the background.
Now in the 37th week of ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴄʏ, the mum who already has four children said she cannot wait to meet her ”rainbow baby”, but will miss the big ʙᴜᴍᴘ. ”Yes it’s just one. I’m sure,” she captioned the viral video, which has been liked by almost 170,000 people.
She insisted she has no medical conditions to explain the baby ʙᴜᴍᴘ which is much larger then normal. She also says she does not have ᴘᴏʟʏʜʏᴅʀᴀᴍɴɪᴏs, extra ꜰʟᴜɪᴅ or ɢᴇsᴛᴀᴛɪᴏɴᴀʟ ᴅɪᴀʙᴇᴛᴇs which would account for the huge ʙᴜᴍᴘ.
In fact, she revealed in a follow-up video that her bub was doing fine. “I had an ᴜʟᴛʀᴀsᴏᴜɴᴅ not that long ago, ꜰʟᴜɪᴅ is normal, the baby is measuring a week and four days ahead.” She revealed that her short height was the reason her ʙᴜᴍᴘ looked so big – adding that she had only gained roughly 15kg during her ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴄʏ.
After one medical professional reacted to one of her videos, claiming she should be worried, the mum-of-four said: ”As a doctor, you should be asʜᴀᴍᴇᴅ of yourself for this video, especially when I’m not your ᴘᴀᴛɪᴇɴᴛ. ”Saying a ʙᴇʟʟʏ shouldn’t be that big when me and my baby are healthy.”
Renae, who claims she only gained 15kgs over the course of this ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴄʏ, added that her last boy came out at 4.3kgs. She also said her baby’s “big head” measured 15 inches (38.1 cm) around.
Similarly, another mum-to-be was ʙᴜᴍᴘ-sʜᴀᴍᴇᴅ constantly by strangers for how big her ʙᴇʟʟʏ was when she was just 22 weeks along. Additionally, another ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ woman shared how people assumed she was fat under her baggy clothes, except she was actually hiding a massive baby ʙᴜᴍᴘ.
